Fraudster Admits Role In $2 Million Fraud Scheme

A young man, Adeyemi Odufuye, 31years, has conceded to accuses issued in association of misleading a Torrington organization out of more than $500,000, as per the workplace of the U.S. Lawyer for the District of Connecticut.  Adeyemi Odufuye, 31, and others engaged with the false action sent many messages to the representative of a Torrington organization in late 2015, inciting them to exchange more than $500,000 from organization accounts. 

Odufuye, "otherwise called 'Micky,' 'Micky Bricks,' 'Yemi,' 'GMB,' 'Bawz,' and 'Jefe,'" was removed from the United Kingdom, where he was learning at Sheffield Hallam University, and captured in December 2016. 

In the messages, (Odufuye) postured (as) the genuine CEO of the casualty organization and educated the controller to send different wire exchanges surpassing a sum of $1 million from the organization's records to different people and implied substances.  The organization at that point sent five wire exchanges totaling more than $500,000 to accounts in Virginia, Florida, Washington, D.C., and Hong Kong." 

To date, the FBI has distinguished 36 wire affirmations in email accounts used by (Odufuye) and others from September 2015 to May 2016, totaling more than $1.6 million.
