News: Police are investigating a family dispute triggered by Mohbad's embalming.

The Lagos State Police Command is intensifying its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the well-known singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, commonly known as Mohbad. The inquiry was prompted by allegations of unauthorized embalming of the deceased's body, leading to a family feud. 

 

Boluwatife Adeyemo, known as Darosha, Mohbad's Personal Assistant, was previously questioned at the Zone 2 Police Headquarters along with the deceased's parents, Joseph and Abosede. Following Darosha's interrogation, other individuals mentioned in his statement have been summoned for further questioning. 

 

Monisola Odumosu, representing the family's legal team, confirmed that additional questioning occurred at the Zone 2 Police Headquarters in Lagos State. The police are actively seeking to identify the individual responsible for the unauthorized embalming. 

 

The family's legal representatives formally filed a petition with the police, alleging that Boluwatife Adeyemo engaged in the unlawful embalming of Mohbad's body.
